Allen Pierce, AIA, LEED AP, Principal
Allen is a Philadelphia-based architect, builder, teacher, and scholar with fifteen years of experience in design, detailing and project management in the New York, Philadelphia & Atlanta areas. The son and grandson of engineers and architects, Allen’s academic training in philosophy (Rhodes College) and architecture (Georgia Tech) are met by a lifetime of direct experience with wood and metalwork.
In addition to design work, Allen teaches courses in Design + Construction at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art + Architecture. In parallel, Allen regularly develops, presents and publishes scholarly work on design, building and embodied experience. Allen also serves as the president of the Vermont-based non-profit ReBHS, which provides community workshop services and supports the growth of the building arts.

Patrick Till, AIA, Principal
Patrick is a registered architect and educator based in Philadelphia, with experience spanning all phases of the building process, from design through construction. He studied the history of art and architecture at Brown University before training as a Windsor chair maker and working with the design-build nonprofit DownCity Design. He later earned his architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Patrick has worked as an architect in Philadelphia for 6 years. Most recently, he worked on university projects at the Philadelphia-based firm KieranTimberlake and taught art and architecture classes at Temple University. His work emphasizes materials, craft, and the needs of building users and makers as central to sustainable, well-executed design.
